What is the Annual Enrollment Period in Medicare?

The Annual Enrollment Period is October 15th through December 7th where Medicare members can switch one drug plan to another drug plan. One Medicare advantage plan to another Medicare advantage plan. Or prescription drug plan to Medicare advantage plan. The new plan would be effective January 1st of the next year.
